🔒🦵🏽One of the most misunderstood techniques in yoga is the term "locking the knee." Let me clarify: locking the knee involves lifting the joint upward through the contraction of the quadriceps and adductors, which provides stability in the joint. 

💡🔥 It's important to avoid pushing the knee backward with relaxed leg muscles or bending it, as this can overstretch the ligaments, especially when balancing on one leg.
