That iconic +80 years old 1.490HP V12 Merlin…

…but a #RollsRoyce turboprop engine version of the P-51 Mustang prototype was also made in 1968 by Cavalier, sold to piper_aircraft_i in 1971 which, after modifying the airframe and fitting it with the lycomingengines Turbo-Prop engine, same used on the #CH47Chinook helicopters, finished in 1984 two prototypes of the #PiperPA48Enforcer which never entered production.
