It still hasn’t sunk in. After many years of dreaming and scheming and planning, we (art wife rjampol and our whole team- Carlos carloshernandezstudios Damien damiendavis Sophia Jill Dena mullerdena and Alan. And our INCREDIBLE Board- Amy, Nick, Tiana, Cat, Lewis, Linda, Michi, David, Melissa) have opened our NYC Space pesfutures which is a PERMANENT hub for the radical imaginary. 

And I could not have imagined a better way to open than with my big brother, our first AIR member, and now Boardie- DERRICK ADAMS. FUTURE PEOPLE…TAKE OFF is the spaceship out of this madness I always wanted- it’s a template for what’s to come! (There’s even wearables and mini sculptures- a collab between DA and gautam.saunders photos coming) 

And the LOVE! WOWOWOWOWOW. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine close to 500 would wait IN LINE IN THE RAIN to come see one of our shows. A true testament to community love and the impact of Derrick as an artist/educator/mentor/curator.
