“It’s crazy for me. Crazy to think that I am in Tampere right now.” 

It’s a homecoming for Aleksander Barkov! The Tampere native grew up just a few miles down the street from Nokia Arena. He was once a kid in the stands watching the Panthers. A full circle moment.  I caught up with the captain, rocking his robe (saunas are big in Finland) ahead of today’s game 1 of the #NHLGlobalSeries
