## Caption

Some of the most challenging moments of photographing hockey arrive merely by being a fan of the team I’m photographing. There are just these profoundly frustrating sequences where I have to remind myself not to lower the camera lens and yell profanity emphasized remarks, at a seemingly visually impaired referee, that can’t actually hear me, and who doesn’t actually care what I think… and instead to just keep photographing the events as they transpire.
