Last week I celebrated 5 years of #bwoyatingzafterdark
5 years of me being in the media space. 
5 years of opening doors I was told I couldn’t open. 
5 years of betting on God and allowing him to lead me. 

In 2019 I lost every single thing.. God decided it was time for a new path, a new direction, a new journey… 
5 years later, 300+ episodes, weekly trending slot on Twitter (the only show locally to do that every single week for 5 years) 

What started from instagram lives, birthed a podcast. A podcast to challenge the norm, a podcast to give the voiceless a voice, to tackle the taboos. Nothing was being done like it in the space. 

I shopped around the concept to have it on the radio and every single person told me no but picapowpowell. 
Was on newstalk93fm for two years, it was hard… moments I couldn’t even financially pay my staff but I knew my calling supersedes my difficulties. 
In my second year I got the opportunity to bring my brand to nationwide90fm and I’ve been going ever since. 

Now I have two radio shows, a podcast, a track and field show, many brand collabs and entered spaces I would told would never accept me. 
 
Bet on your self, trust that God has the final say and keep taking up space! 🥂
