🏛️ Since 1867, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has grown with a deep respect for its architectural and cultural heritage. In 1995, the university adopted a Campus Historic Preservation Plan to:

✔️ Preserve historic assets
✔️ Respect integrity in construction & rehab
✔️ Use heritage to inspire new projects
✔️ Seek private funding for restorations
✔️ Pass heritage to future generations

The plan covers ~3,500 acres across North, Central, and South Campus, plus the South Farms, ensuring the past remains a visible part of the future. ♾️⏳
