The Athens Songwriters’ Forum, a project of Athens Resonates and the Vic Chesnutt Songwriter of the Year Awards, to spotlight homegrown songwriting talent while investing in our community’s future.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, from 8:00–11:00 p.m. at Ciné, we’ll host our second Athens Songwriters’ Forum, a dynamic talk-show-style evening featuring live performances and intimate interviews with acclaimed artists David Lowery (Cracker) and Jordan Reynolds (Rose Hotel).

Proceeds support three vital causes:
- Nuci’s Space, promoting mental health and music access
- Athens Boys & Girls Club, empowering underserved youth
- The Vic Chesnutt Songwriter Awards, celebrating and preserving local artistry
