Say hello to Lucy - an Andean bear (also known as a spectacled bear) and the latest addition to our zoo family! 💚

🌿 Native to the misty mountains of South America, this rare and endearing species is known for its distinctive facial markings and naturally curious nature.

🍯 You might be reminded of a certain storybook bear who shares the same roots and a particular fondness for marmalade… 😉

🚂 While Lucy doesn’t wear a red hat or hang out at train stations, she does have a sweet personality and a definite soft spot for sticky treats!

➡️ Come visit Lucy in her peaceful new home. Like most spectacled bears, she prefers a quiet life on her own.
