Not because it’s silly (though it is),
but because it says:
👉 “I see you.”
👉 “You belong here.”
👉 “You matter—on and off the field.”

At the Sandlot, this is where it starts.
We hand out nicknames like sunflower seeds—because connection is the foundation of confidence. And once that kid hears the whole group chant “Llama Shades!” with pride? Game. Changed.
