Get to know the brilliant minds behind our 2025 NYC Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive: SPECTRUM final performance. Led by Artistic Director and choreographer Angelica Stiskin angelicastiskin , this culminating performance is shaped by the distinct voices of choreographers Emily Bufferd, Cat Cogliandro, JoiLynn Hopkins, Angel Kaba, Blake Krapels, Joanna Numata, Nicholas Palmquist, Maiya Redding, Monique Smith, and Amy Yakima. Their collective vision has pushed dancers to move beyond form and into feeling—into something raw, complex, and uniquely their own.

This performance is more than a showcase, it is an invitation to step fully into the spectrum of movement and meaning, where every shade of expression is welcome and every voice finds its place. Join us tomorrow and experience the depth, contrast, and power of this summer.
