If you know me, you know my love for school pride, mascots, & acting just a bit off kilter... a lot of this can contribute to my time on #TeamRocky at Montclair State University 📣

Over a week ago, this lovable & incredible group of people got together to celebrate the 10 years of Team Rocky, montclairstateu mascot team, who has created countless smiles and moments of joy for our campus community.

I was honored to accept the “Trailblazer Award” as well as two “Creator Awards” for best “Photo Post” as well as best “Long Form Video” on Rocky’s social media accounts. Without rockyredhawk , I don’t think I would have ever truly found my passion for creating on the scale that eventually led to my career and I am forever grateful for that.

I was also grateful to be recognized for a few performance recognitions during my time with the team, repping the yellow talons and performing alongside both Montclair’s Cheer and Dance Teams. My inter-theater kid takes all the credit for those and would be very proud.

A massive shoutout to both Hannah Lindeblad (hj_70690) and Cindy Meneghin (cindymeneghin) for their guidance and support of my crazy ambitions throughout my time as a student. I was extremely fortunate to have people who let me grow and seize my full potential.

If you were a student at Montclair anytime from 2017 to 2020, we may have just crossed paths in an unexpected fashion... and you never know, we may meet again one day. But for now, this celebration was an awesome reflection for some extraordinary people doing extraordinary things, and they are memories I will cherish for years to come.

See you at the 20th! #RedHawkPride #Mascots #SchoolSpirit
