Connecting ambition with opportunity! During Black Tech Week 2025, in partnership with MORTAR, we hosted the exclusive “Ambition Unplugged: Founders Reception”, a powerful gathering that brought together underrepresented entrepreneurs, local innovators, and industry leaders in Cincinnati’s vibrant tech ecosystem. Held during a week that welcomed thousands of Black founders, investors, creatives, and builders from across the country, Ambition Unplugged was designed as an intimate space for connection, inspiration, and shared ambition. Through a special ticket giveaway in July, we invited local Ohio entrepreneurs and Black Tech Week attendees to join us for an evening of community, and the response was incredible.

Together with MORTAR, an organization deeply committed to supporting underestimated founders, we created an environment where guests could:

-Learn more about the Black Ambition Prize, our annual initiative supporting high-growth ventures
-Listen to 4 incredible Founder Presentations including: AllPeep, Gabb Global, Skin by Brownlee & Co., and The STEM Lab
-Network with other visionary leaders, potential collaborators, and changemakers shaping the future of innovation

Cincinnati, your energy was undeniable. Your entrepreneurs showed us what it means to lead with passion and purpose and your city reminded us why regional partnerships matter in building a more equitable entrepreneurial landscape.
