💡 A new song is out, so we know what time it is!

Let’s talk about ‘Unknown’

Andrew mentioned that the song is about being let down by somebody who you really trusted and having the feeling of being betrayed by this person. 

The song is placed in the ninth circle of Dante’s Inferno, the circle of Treachery. 
Here, the condemned souls are “frozen” into the ice and completely unable to move or speak.

This is the deepest circle of hell and where Satan resides. Also known as ‘The Fallen Angel’ (🎶 I thought you were like an angel to me 🎶) he was condemned following his betrayal against God. 
Here, he’s not the king of hell but the primary and its number one prisoner.

Beelzebub, Lucifer, or Satan, being the one who’s the farthest from God’s light, is trapped in the lake Cocytus, frozen from the waist down (🎶And either side of my sleep you where you were like a frozen Angel to me 🎶).
His flapping wings generate the wind that keeps the lake frozen. 

His three mouths chew on the shade-bodies of Brutus, Judas, and Cassius, the worst human traitors of all (🎶 you smile now, I can see it’s pieces still stuck in your teeth). 

So he took these small references of Dante’s inferno to create this devastating breakup song 😮‍💨💔
