Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! The only federal holiday designated as a national day of service by Congress. It’s been said that this holiday is designed to be “a day on,” not “a day off.” If done right, today is a day of service to our community as we work to bridge relationships, improve our community, and move closer to Dr. King's vision. Dr. King’s life of purpose, courage, and individual responsibility continues to inspire millions of people today, including me. Long live his legacy!
