For next season, @Manchester United have gone full 90s. Rooted in the swagger of that era of football culture, the new @adidas third kit fully revives the feeling. The Three Stripes have reimagined one of the Red Devil’s most iconic looks, drawing inspiration from the classic black and yellow aesthetic of the 93’ – 95’ third kit, famously worn by none other than club legend Eric Cantona. This is for the real ones. The shirt is built around a sinister black base, but the devil is literally in the details as the design is elevated with some subtle devil motifs woven into the fabric. Yellow and blue accents adorn the collar and sleeve cuffs, adding a splash of colour to the design – enough to make a statement on the pitch. It’s giving a 9-0 win against Ipswich and a Cantona masterclass… Meanwhile, after the success of its long-awaited return, the trefoil sees another year on a United third kit, bringing another sense of nostalgia from a logo that ruled a golden era of football. Sitting right above the heart is a a vintage style shield crest, giving a sharper interpretation of signature United identity with a clean, contemporary finish. The third kit has been unveiled alongside a wider terrace collection, which once again brings out the best of early 90's terrace culture. In a stylish grey, the full collection sees a full tracksuit, t-shirt, and gazelles ready to hit up match day or any day this season. The Red Devils are entering 25/26 more sinister than ever, with both a stunning visual refresh and players with a point to prove. Who knows what next season will bring.
