This season at #TheApollo, it’s all about what’s new and what’s next ✨

Our season theme, “Breaking Ground”, is an ode to the artists bold enough to carve new paths and reimagine the future. And of course, it’s also a nod to the historic renovation paving the way for The Apollo’s next chapter! 

We’re kicking things off with “Got To Be There”, our free gallery exhibition packed with rare photos, videos, and artifacts transporting you through 91 years of Apollo magic. Then we’re outside for a #HarlemWeek collab with CocaCola and fieldtripusa, complete with delicious bites, sips, and Apollo Hour performances lighting up the mainstage.

#ApolloWorksInProcess returns with the Southern Stories Series, an exploration of the impacts of hurricane Katrina 20 years later. Don’t miss “The Faith Healer” by KelleyGirod, a screening and talkback for “Katrina: Come Hell and High Water“, and “Echoes of the Storm” in collaboration with junebugnola. 

The party gets going with reggae icons steelpulseofficial, who will join us for an intimate look back at their 50 year career, before rocking the stage at City Winery.

And its always a fun night out with #ApolloComedyClub curated by Bob.Sumner, and #ApolloMusicCafé featuring shoniquashandai and Samoht in October. We’ll also ring in spooky season with Melanin Madness: Halloween Edition alongside melanin_madness99.
The season continues with more new works including “HANG TIME” in collaboration with The Flea Theater, and the #ApolloWorksInProcess musical, “Bricks” in collaboration with 651ARTS.

We’ll wrap the season with ApolloEdHarlem’s School Day Live: Finding North and a blackgeniusfoundation Talk featuring Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah & KielAdrianScott.

The Historic Theater is closed for renovation, but The Apollo Stages at The Victoria will be keeping us busy!
