my first read of the year was this cute little graphic novel y’all may have heard of called check please. i read them both in a day and half and loved every single little part of them, and have since read EIGHT (working on number nine) other hockey books, attended a skills showcase for my local nhl team, bought tickets to two games, and actually watch a sport on tv now. i don’t really know how it spiraled so fast but honestly i’m not mad about it.
