milo and marcos surprised me in the best way! 

i wasn’t expecting to identify so strongly with milo, but his inner monologue is ME and his ability to self-sabotage is also FAR too relatable. 

i also really enjoyed the way religion was portrayed in this book. it was nice to have it be a rather sizable portion of the book without feeling like it was pushing any one religion onto the reader or having it be a major point of contention. the characters all had different feelings and beliefs and all stayed true to them the whole story.

milo and marcos is a really lovely read about coming to terms with who are and being proud to be that person, even when shit gets tough. i really enjoyed this!
