According to tmz_tv, it was revealed that Danielle, 60, passed away following complications from cancer. Her co-star Haywood Nelson, who starred on the show as Dwayne, shared that she passed Monday night in a Richmond, Virginia, hospital with her family by her side.

The hollywoodreporter reports that Danielle was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy in 2014. In 2018, she underwent emergency surgery to relieve bleeding in her brain.
