Russia and Ukraine carried out another prisoner exchange on Thursday, with 84 people from each side returning home, officials confirmed.⁣
⁣
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the freed Russian personnel are now in Belarus, where they are receiving medical care and psychological support. ⁣
⁣
They will later be transported to Russia for further treatment and rehabilitation at Defense Ministry facilities. ⁣
⁣
The ministry also expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its role in facilitating the swap.⁣
⁣
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the exchange included both soldiers and civilians. ⁣
⁣
He thanked the UAE for its assistance, as well as Ukrainian intelligence, the President’s Office, and other agencies involved in securing the release.⁣
