Griffin responded with a $2.25 million donation to Team Water, a fundraiser aiming to bring clean water to communities around the world. The contribution makes him the top donor so far, helping push the campaign closer to its $40 million goal before the end of August.

Team Water, created by MrBeast and fellow YouTuber and former NASA engineer Mark Rober, follows their past #TeamTrees and #TeamSeas initiatives. The campaign supports WaterAid, with every dollar providing one person access to clean water for a year. Major contributors so far include CrateRoyaleCR, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, with the fundraiser wrapping up on August 31.
