George Strait has been named a 2025 Kennedy Center honoree by President Trump.

He joins four others named as "American icons in performing arts": Tony-winning Broadway actor Michael Crawford, action movie icon Sylvester Stallone, Grammy-winning singer Gloria Gaynor, and legendary rock band KISS.

The honorees will be celebrated at the annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala in December.
