Why is Louisiana losing a football field of land every hour? It’s not just storms. It’s levees, canals, saltwater intrusion, sinking land, and rising seas. But at the local nonprofit that I work for, we’re not just standing by. This year, we’ve already planted 5,280 trees across the southeast Louisiana. Over time, more than 90% of our trees survive, a testament to our science-first approach at PC.  Every tree helps stabilize shorelines, reduce storm surge, and rebuild habitat.
