“Holy Spirit, make us steadfast, honest, true, to old Morehouse, and her ideals, and in all things that we do”

Firstly, I give all glory to God, for without Him I am nothing. If you would’ve told me 4 years ago all the things I’d accomplish during my time at Morehouse, I’d laugh and call you crazy. I came into Morehouse unsure of myself, my future, and my purpose. But God doesn’t lead you down a path He knows you aren’t prepared for. I’m so grateful for the people, the memories, and the lessons both in and out of the classroom that I’ll be able to carry with me for the rest of my life. I look forward to getting to Cal State-Long Beach and continuing to prove to myself that I am exactly who I think I am, and who I know I can be.
