## Caption

Behind the scene of the shooting Precious Jewels by the Sea. Wanted to make a painting on the beach and it was the middle of winter so we improvised with many many bags of sand. I really only like shooting outside in natural light but it was Jan in NY.  15 min in I realized that the multi-task of being behind the camera and directing the models pose by pose( while looking for the painting composition in the process) was a little difficult  so  my trusted friend and talented photographer melaniedunea  photographed while I focused on the subjects and creating the image I wanted 🤪  #art #painter #hauserandwirth #amysherald #paintersprocess #studio  #beachday also starring my assistant kelliryan ☺️
