On his relationship with TikTok: "I remember when we were about to promote ‘Gemini Rights,’ the label was like ‘TikTok this, TikTok that.’ And I was super resistant like…hell no, y’all not about to make me like that. But that’s the thing about me, if I get a suggestion, I might fight you at first. But when I’m by myself I’m going to think about it."

On potential new music with #theinternet: "We never broke up. We’re making some music now."

On past interactions with fans: "It was a culture shock for me...I think, going on the road post-COVID and going viral at the same time invited a lot of like rambunctious kids who were going to concerts for the first time. So at first, my body rejected it and then, by the end of the road I was so happy with their rambunctiousness..."
