“When I started the FreeFlow Project, I knew I wanted to partner with organizations already doing the hard, heart work — the ones showing up for their communities every single day, no matter how tough the circumstances. We didn’t have a million-dollar budget or a roster of celebrities to champion our cause  and that’s exactly how I wanted it. 

This work is powered by real people, for real people. The strategy behind the marketing, the outreach, the physical demand of packing and distributing, has ALL been made possible by the people in our community that chose to show up consistently. 

I chose this as our first large-scale campaign because functional disparity , the reality that some needs simply go unmet , has become far too common in our society. The only way to dismantle it is to talk about it and act on it, together.

My hope is that this care package gives you even a small bit of relief — maybe it saves you $10 for groceries, a bus fare, or another essential. But more than that, I hope it reminds you that a greater Atlanta is possible — one where we care for each other not out of obligation, but with enthusiasm, commitment, and love. “
