Figure out how many rows of criss crosses you want to do. As for me, I decided to do 6 rows. Step 2πŸ’« Once I had my first section parted off, I split it into two equal parts and started to make my squares. Step 3πŸ’« When doing the squares, mold the hair with a gel of your choice to keep the parts nice and clean. Initially this was the hardest part for me but I realized all I had to do was twist the parted hair and clip it away. This made adding the rubber bands easier! Step 4πŸ’« Rubber bands! I added the rubber bands being extra careful not to do it too tight because they do add tension and I don’t want to hurt my clients. For the cross cross: since the section was split into two, I chose a side to start on and would add to the rubber band to the opposite side when done & repeat. So if I started in the first row on the left, I’d combine that rubber-banded section to the second row on the right. I hope that makes sense. πŸ˜… Step 5πŸ’« When done applying rubber bands to all sections, I continued doing the passion twists down the loose ends.
