This is unjust. It’s irrational. And it’s putting the lives, health, and wellbeing of millions at risk.⁣

Right now, tax rules are rigged by a few rich countries, letting loopholes and tax havens thrive. For decades, tax systems have been restructured to benefit the richest people and corporations, helping them gain more wealth and influence.⁣

A fair UN process means all countries, especially in the Global South, get a real say.⁣
⁣
This could stop the drain of public money that fuels inequality and blocks climate and social progress.⁣
⁣
It’s time to make the super-rich and multinationals like oil and gas corporations pay what they owe for the damages they are causing, so governments can fund what people and the planet need.⁣
