I’m honored to bring my little series of #amplifymelanatedvoices posts to a close (for now, more to come in the future because this needs to be a consistent thing!) with this honest video from @aishasaysdance - a bi actress, producer, storyteller and new fitness lover - who relays her experience with microaggressions (a term I had never heard of, because of my privilege). She also posted an epic roundup of inspiring Black creators and links in my stories so please check that out too! Here’s more from @aishasaysdance 🖤 “Hi, I’m Aisha! You can call me a visual storyteller of sorts, I’m pretty Blerdy 🤓 and I have a passion for truthfully bringing to light Black, Queer, and other Marginalized people’s stories, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles for underserved communities. I wanted to take some time today to talk to you all about the damaging effects of microaggressions and how dangerous being ignorant to other people's stories and histories can be. As well as how important it is to share, listen to, and support Black experiences. I am very thankful for Mr. Kate for sharing her platform with me today and I have curated a list of a few Black voices that you can learn from and support on Kate’s IG stores.
