As previously reported, Rivers accused Diddy, MTV, Viacom, and others of mistreatment during “Making The Band 2.” Rivers cited incidents like the infamous Juniors cheesecake walk, being forced to sleep in an open bay with four men while married, and claims of harassment and assault. She also alleged Diddy dismantled the group while pocketing most of her show money. ___________________________________
Twenty-one counts were dismissed with prejudice, meaning they cannot be refiled. One count (Count Fifteen) was dismissed, and Judge Rakoff is deferring his decision on whether that dismissal will be with or without prejudice, pending a Second Circuit ruling deciding whether the claim is time-barred. Diddy’s legal counsel, Erica Wolff, responded to the news, stating, “From the outset, we have said these claims were meritless, time-barred, and legally deficient.
