Meredith Schneider has been impressed with how convenience stores and gas stations have integrated better services and food options over the years.

QuikTrip, for example, is a Tulsa-based convenience chain with more than 1,000 stores across 17 states. Its grab-and-go food section has everything from pizza slices and taquitos to pastries and sandwiches.

She decided to visit a QuikTrip in Kansas City, Missouri, to see how its six grab-and-go subs stack up against each other.
