Less is not more, here’s why:

Shifting from restriction and excessive caloric deprivation to one of abundance can change everything.

Here are three ways you can transform your health and relationship with food:

🥦1-Think in abundance: how can I add more phytonutrients and micronutrients to my diet? How can I get more fiber? How can I get enough calories to support my energy and body composition?

🫐2-Practicing self-care by limiting foods that are less optimal, meaning the foods that alter your hunger hormones, make you crave more of it, eat more of it, make you feel really bad about yourself and then eating more of those foods because you are disappointed.

🥘3-Avoiding large caloric deficits. So many people do not realize that 🚨undereating and over exercising can lead to over activating your sympathetic nervous system🚨.This can lead to increases in cortisol, increases in blood sugar (through gluconeogenesis), and a breakdown of muscle. Cortisol is a catabolic hormone so chronically high cortisol can lead to a breakdown of muscle and pulling amino acids from them which means less ability to store glucose which makes it much easier to gain body fat, experience inflammation and become insulin resistant.

Try ADDING foods like avocado, nut butter, chia seeds

Adding nourishing foods can make you feel your best and is the ultimate form of self-respect!
