Do You Hate Laundry As Much As I Do?

It never ends! Do you think you have a system? But you don’t! Has anyone won at laundry?

No matter what you do, there’s always more clothes to wash, more clothes to fold, more clothes to put away. (Accepting this first world problem right here)

Sometimes you get the idea to weed through your kids clothes on laundry day thinking it will save you some time and you’ll come out with a big bag to donate.

Ha ha jokes on you! That often result in me going through all of my kids drawers like a crazy person, lost down a tunnel, resulting in 10 @traderjoes bags of stuff to pass on to the next person. Wait. Is it dinner time already? Whoops!

In truth, we try to get our kids to fold their own laundry, which sometimes works but it still sits there. Also, we have to breathe through how they put it back in their drawers. Aka shoved, pushed, rolled in a ball, or the best - unable to close and yet completely invisible (as an issue) to said child. So did that really help… or does it just make us more mad? 😆

The best part about making this video? I found the missing sock I’ve been searching for and the hair towel my daughter couldn’t find for a week. That is true, authentic cinematic gold right there. 

Which I guess is life imitating art in the cautionary laundry tale of why you should wash your blankets separate from everything else.

Call your mother and tell her she was right.
