Happy Birthday to ME! I’m finding turning 45 to be hard. It’s a lot harder than 40.  I saw someone wish their 45 year old spouse congrats on being half way to 90.  Now I can’t stop thinking about that.  Half way to 90.  However, my mean husband pointed out that I’m a lot closer to 50 than 90, but he just likes to make me feel old 🙄.  Wow. 45.  Well - at least this 50% nonagenarian had a great day.  We spent the day in the city doing our new favorite thing - seeing a Wednesday matinee. It feels so naughty to see a show in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day… but that is the beauty of being an entrepreneur! We started our day having a delicious lunch at @limani_restaurants where the Greek food was as beautiful as the ambiance.  Then we headed over to @akimbomusical and let me tell you, much like the @thetonyawards nominating committee I loved it. But boy was that an existential show to see on my birthday! As a theater lover I always grab tickets at the box office for the next show to save on the fees. Since I really want to see @andjulietbway we went over and got them for June. Happy birthday to me! Since I missed @themetgalaofficial the other day I wore my @karllagerfeld shirt in homage. Finally, we headed home where our family was waiting for us at one of our favorite hibachi restaurants. Because there’s nothing better than a nice filet on your bday.  Last, because The Mint Chip Mama would not be The Mint Chip Mama without it, we had my favorite cake from @baskinrobbins yes. You got that right. Mint Chip.  Now all I want is to kick my daughter’s butt in spit, get my kids to bed, and close this night out with a hot cup of tea.  Cause I’m old.
