As we promote that safety is more than just injury prevention, USA Cheer is proud to support the Body Confident Sport program to help girls build body confidence and make sports a place where girls feel like they belong. ♥️

Did you know that 45% of girls are quitting sports – and low body confidence is the #1 reason why? 

Body Confident Sport provides coaches with the materials they need to increase girls’ body confidence, body image and self-esteem through sport. 

This program was developed by dove and nike, in partnership with world-renowned researchers and experts - the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport and the Centre for Appearance Research. 

In the webinar listed within our Body Positivity Resources, you’ll hear directly from Hannah Silva-Breen from the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, Sofia Garcia from Unilever, and Sarah Mclaughlin from the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA, representing key partners who developed Body Confident Sport.
