The Alabama Department of Human Resources and Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education are expanding the popular program into the lives of the state's foster children. Beginning this month, every child in foster care 5 or younger will be automatically enrolled in the program to receive a free age-appropriate book in the mail once a month.
