Thanks to a Fulbright grant, this Rutgers alum is now pursuing his master's degree at the University of Tübingen, specializing in geoarchaeology. His research focuses on something straight out of a movie: studying ancient DNA preservation in cave sediments.🧬

Beyond his studies, Joe is embracing life abroad—making friends from around the world, learning German, and exploring the beautiful Swabian Alb mountain range.
