Tadej Pogačar won the Tour de France and Wout van Aert won both Strade Bianche and Milano-Sanremo on rim brakes in 2020. A year later, Egan Bernal won the 2021 Giro d'Italia on rim brakes. Fast-forward to 2025 and their bikes look very different.
