On Friday, the California Parole Board decided to deny parole for #LyleMenendez who, along with his brother #ErikMenendez, was convicted for the 1989 killing of their parents in Beverly Hills.

According to tmz_tv, during his hearing, Lyle spoke about the alleged sexual abuse he experienced from his father #JoseMenendez between the ages of 6 and 8. He claimed it forced him into a state of “hyper vigilance” because he was often “waiting, and not knowing when something would happen.” He also claimed that he was 13 when José began abusing Erik. When asked about the molestation of his younger brother, he claimed he had no clue why he did it, and stated that he was “just trying to release” the abuse he endured.
