## Caption

This reflection, shared by a visitor inside the "Ruth Asawa: Retrospective" oral history recording booth, reminds us that Asawa’s legacy goes far beyond the wire forms she’s best known for. "One of the main things I love about Ruth Asawa, just besides how beautiful her work is to behold, is the fact that she synthesized and embodied all of the callings in her life with a lot of peace and synchronicity. As a mother, a woman, a teacher, a friend, an amateur gardener—of course, an artist—she embodied all of these roles with such sincerity and dedication, and she makes it seem possible to live a truly intentional, connected life." What parts of your life are you learning to hold with more intention? 🧵 Share your personal connection with Ruth Asawa in the recording booth on Floor 4 or online at the link in bio.
