Caro-Seuss-el (1999) – A carousel of Seuss-inspired creatures. (Supervision required under 48”)

Oh! The Stories You’ll Hear! – A musical stage show featuring The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 & Thing 2, The Grinch, Sam-I-Am, and The Lorax.

If I Ran the Zoo – An interactive play area inspired by the Seuss classic.

Universal Islands of Adventure, commonly referred to as Islands of Adventure, is a theme park in Orlando, Florida. The park first opened on May 28, 1999, as Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, debuting alongside Universal CityWalk as part of a massive expansion that transformed Universal Studios Florida into the Universal Orlando Resort. At the time, it was Universal’s largest investment since the resort’s 1990 opening. In 2001, the name was changed to Universal’s Islands of Adventure, which it carried until 2023.

As the resort’s second theme park, Islands of Adventure paved the way for future expansions, later joined by Universal Volcano Bay in 2017 (its first water park) and Universal Epic Universe in 2025 (its third theme park).

Built on the spirit of exploration and discovery, the park is divided into themed “islands,” each offering unique attractions and environments. At its debut, Islands of Adventure featured six distinct areas. A seventh, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, opened in 2010, marking a significant milestone that significantly boosted attendance. By 2013, the park ranked 7th among U.S. theme parks and 11th worldwide, drawing an estimated 8.1 million visitors that year.
