## Caption

One of the most stunning natural spaces in Portland is located just a few steps from campus. Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden is across the street from Reed and free for students who bring their ID.

Open year-round, the garden is filled with rhododendrons and azaleas and serves as a refuge for over 90 species of birds. It borders Crystal Springs Lake and boasts two waterfalls and many beautiful walkways. Students love visiting in the spring and summer when the garden is in full bloom--and in the fall to witness the colorful fall foliage.
