That was the reality for Byron “Big Baby” Washington as a high school sophomore. 

While most teenagers worried about Friday night lights, Byron’s ultimate focus was on helping his mom fight and ultimately defeat brain cancer. 

Now, as a freshman at Syracuse, his fight for greatness continues on a bigger stage.
