8 years later, I can finally put this moment into a song.

This was my last day as a police officer — the day I said goodbye to my brothers and sisters in blue. I held it together until I couldn’t anymore. That moment has lived on YouTube all these years, but today it feels different.

Hard to be a Hero isn’t about the badge or the uniform. It’s about the people I served alongside. The ones who laughed when I’d say #makeadifference after briefing — and still went out and gave everything they had for the community.

This song is for them. I think it’s time to hit the studio 💙
