The 28-year-old actress was taken into custody on August 18 and booked into the DeKalb County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and third-degree cruelty to children. Under Georgia law, cruelty to children in the third degree is classified as a misdemeanor. The charge applies when a minor under the age of 18 is present to see or hear an act of family violence, battery, or other forcible offense.
