🔦This week's advocate spotlight: Jennifer Herb 💜

Jennifer is a migraine patient/advocate and long time supporter of Miles for Migraine. She has taken part in a wide variety of our events, fundraised and volunteered her time, most recently as a member of the Pennsylvania Walk/Run/Relax Event committee. 

We asked Jennifer - Why did you choose to get involved with, and support Miles for Migraine? 

"Migraine has clouded my view of myself. Realizing that Migraine and who I am are two VERY separate things has been so liberating and has sparked this fire inside of me to fight back. That's why I’m so passionate to support and be active in Miles for Migraine…to fight back and not let Migraine stifle who I am. Miles for Migraine has strengthened my voice and given me the confidence to educate others about Migraine. My hope is to spread that flame until one day it can be extinguished with a cure. 

Miles for Migraine has created this beautiful community of connectedness, a safe haven, that provides hope, education, and support that is spreading and producing change. Connecting with others living with Migraine has lessened the feelings of isolation and the sense of failure. Using my voice to advocate for myself and fellow migraine warriors has fulfilled my passion as an RN to help others and restore hope! "
