Day 3 of the top 10 games in program history (in order by latest to most recent) as selected by the current coaching staff and athletic communications at DU.

Saginaw Valley State (10/29/22) - The top 25 battle between No. 18 Davenport and No. 23 SVSU went down to the wire and the Panthers got a huge 29-28 road win to improve to 8-0, 4-0 in the GLIAC. The game saw five lead changes in the second half alone and featured 790 combined total yards of offense. Brandon Gielow connected on three field goals, one in each of the first three quarters. Jason Whittaker threw for 307 yards and three TD's and Caleef Jenkins ran for 102 yards.

Michigan Tech (9/30/23) - The Panthers posted a 28-0 win in Houghton for their first shutout of a GLIAC opponent. It was the second shutout ever for the Panthers, who scored a touchdown in each quarter. Caleef Jenkins had a seven-yard TD in the first and a one-yard TD in the third. Peyton Brown caught a five-yard TD from Jason Whittaker in the second. Micah Wilson capped it off with a 72-yard punt return to the house in the fourth.

Saginaw Valley State (10/28/23) - The No. 11 Panthers needed some last-minute heroics at The Farm to rally from down 21-9 in the fourth quarter. The combo of Demetrius Garrett and Jason Whittaker found paydirt on a seven-yard reception with 7:52 left to make it 21-16. DU got the ball back with 1:39 to play on their own eight-yard line and drove 92 yards in 12 plays. On fourth and goal from the SV 10, Whittaker went back to pass and tucked the ball to run. He crossed the goal line on a dive with 11 seconds left to get the win, 24-21.
