Irish rap group Kneecap are set to perform at the annual Rock en Seine music festival outside Paris on Sunday, despite one of their members facing a terror charge in the UK.⁣

There have been objections from French Jewish groups and government officials - local authorities have withdrawn their subsidies for the festival in protest.⁣
⁣
“We are confident the group will perform in the correct manner," Matthieu Ducos, director of Rock en Seine, said before the festival.⁣

Liam O'Hanna faced court after he allegedly waved a Hezbollah flag on stage during a show.⁣
⁣
The case will return to court in September. ⁣
